Freedom Estate is a singular Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon made from a specific site, the exceptional Vangone Estate, Block D. Situated high above the eastern ridges of Napa Valley, at the base of Haystack Mountain, it boasts a unique terroir marked by rocky plateaus, volcanic soils and an elevation of 1672 feet. Vangone is tucked into a neighborhood historically recognized as a consistent source of acclaimed and coveted wines.

Vangone’s 20-year-old vines thrive in the well-drained, rock-laden soils that define this section of Napa’s Vaca Mountains. Through a combination of volcanic uplift and eons of erosion, a striking geology has formed beneath the surface. Basking in ample afternoon sunshine and tended by a brilliant vineyard management team, the Cabernet vines grown on this incredible footprint are allowed to express their full flavor potential.
