Founders Shawn and Connie Guttersen

Living in the Napa Valley for more than thirty years alongside our children, Gabriella and William, we have been blessed with an appreciation for what makes our country great, the importance of family, and a deep gratitude for many opportunities.

A memorable wine is more than the intricate details of farming and the art of winemaking... it encompasses the passion and shared experience of those who savor these labors of love.

Shawn is a lifelong admirer of the Western way of life. Born and raised on a working cattle ranch in Colorado, he continues to be a horse and livestock enthusiast. He is a partner in one of California’s longest-standing privately held companies specializing in waste management and recycling. With deep roots in business and a passion for sustainability, he brings a thoughtful, entrepreneurial spirit to the world of wine.

Connie is a nationally recognized culinary author including a New York Times bestseller. A longtime faculty member at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, she is also a founding member of CHEF, a children’s culinary arts program based in San Antonio, Texas. Her lifelong dedication to food and health fuels a perspective that the interplay of food and wine elevate the experience, beyond just “flavor”, as each has the potential to enhance and reveal unique characters of the other.

Together, Shawn and Connie blend their diverse backgrounds to create wines that reflect a shared commitment to quality and sustainability.
