Freedom Estate Philosophy

Freedom Estate embodies the essence of passion, perseverance, and the pioneering spirit of winemaking in Napa Valley. It was important to us to pay tribute to our family’s roots from around the world - from an Italian heritage that began in East Africa and another family tree originating in Eastern Europe - to modern-day Americans in Texas, Colorado, and California.

Our philosophy is founded on respect and honor for one of our most cherished gifts: Freedom!

In 2009, we released the inaugural vintage of Freedom Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. Our vision of making exceptional wine began with sourcing from hillside select fruit for limited quantities of designate vineyards, including Somerston, Italics, and Vangone Estate. Today, we solely source from The Vangone Estate and ultimately with the expression of our talented winemaker, Roberto Alfaro, who shares our unwavering commitment to artisan craftsmanship.
